In our modern shrinking world, there’re so many foreigners among us, crossing the ocean isn’t the only way to fulfill the Great Commission. We have a wonderful opportunity to show and share the love of Christ with the thousands of refugees and immigrants that have moved into the Mohawk Valley. Now we want to “make the most of every opportunity for doing good” (Eph 5:15). As the world comes to our door, we are reaching out to offer friendship, material donations, worship services held in various languages, community events, and tutoring in English & life skills. Since the earliest days of the Church, God has called us to be a community without any divisions of race, gender, religious upbringing or socio-economic status (Col 3:11). This is the kind of community that we strive to be.
